I Bought a Bike and Named it BB8

I’d like to announce that my friend Dred and I have launched a vlog called D&D Diaries on Youtube. Please check out our first episode below!

Now in case you don’t like to watch videos, which is perfectly understandable because I was once like you, I’ll recap some of the things that happened on said video.

 

Dred and I decided to challenge ourselves to exercise everyday and ended up buying our own bikes. We’ve named them Bumblebee and BB8. In case the names mean nothing to you, they’re characters from the movies Transformers and Star Wars, respectively. Mine is BB8 because it’s white, just like the super cute droid BB8, which just so happens to be my favourite character in Star Wars.

We’ve been riding our bikes in East Coast Park on mornings before we go to work. I just love the view and the sea breeze!

On weekends, we join our flatmates Nantoy and Lang Lang (whom we forced to name their bikes as well – they picked Jarvis and Optimus Prime) and ride 9km to Marina Bay Sands and another 9km back to our home. The view on the way is breathtaking as well.

The food at the end of the ride is so delicious, too!

After 3 hours of biking, everything hurts, but it’s worth it. I love my bike! I love my flatmates!
