Last night our team had dinner with our MD and another team at Arbenz, a restaurant in the Swiss Club. They’re normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, apparently, but they were booked privately for us, so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Pretty cool!
Dinner was a delicious main course of either beef or fish. I’m glad I chose beef, which turned out to be a mouthwatering slow-cooked short rib topped with melts-in-your-mouth foie gras. The creamy mashed potatoes on the side was so delicious as well.
Shortly after we polished off dinner, the waiters brought out a birthday cake that we had ordered for our MD. He was so surprised, especially since his birthday is over a week away. 😂
He thanked us for the surprise anyway.
Then they served dessert and the cake, too, so we had two desserts. 😅 The cake tasted better than the brownie so I ate that with the vanilla ice cream instead.
Then Gabriel brought up the new viral meme called the Mannequin Challenge and we decided to do it, too.

It turned out really well! Props to the waiter for filming us and Carly for editing the video.
It was truly a memorable night.

I think if one person got the giggles, it would bring everyone down too! Luckily, people were pretty serious, so I had to be, too.
