Today I’m going to review Beauty-Keeper’s bestselling Serlando Rosy Pink Moisture Dew which I got at the Sample Store Beauty Show.
Serlando Rosy Pink Moisture Dew is a clear coloured liquid that turns a customized shade of pink once it comes in contact with your lips or other private body parts.
I say “customized” because the shade of pink depends on your body chemistry. The specific shade of pink is different for each person. For me, it looks like this:
As you can see, it looks quite moisturizing. It puts on a sheer burst of pink colour and shine which may be enough for days when you just want to look a bit natural. It’s lip oil – like a lip stain, but shinier and more moisturizing, but not oily and tacky.
It’s not very pigmented, though, and does not hide the dark outer lines of my lips. So I usually use this under or over lipstick. I like that its texture makes it easier to put on other lipstick; it makes them glide more easily, so I’m often using this as some sort of lip primer instead of by itself.
I thought the packaging was quite nice. It came in a tiny glass bottle which shows you the clear liquid which magically turns into a different colour once you use it. The applicator is an easy to use roller ball.
The salesperson at the Sample Store Beauty Show explained that this is skincare and not makeup. It contains organic rosehip seed oil, rose essential oil, vitamin e, butyrospermum parkii butter, and ceramide – all ingredients that you typically find in skincare products, to help moisturize or smoothen skin. So I keep on using this in the hope that someday, it will help lighten my pigmented lips.
I had actually been looking for a product to help me with my pigmented lips, and this dropped right into my… goodie bag. Thanks, universe! ☺️ I was so happy about it that I actually bought another one from the one of the booths.
