Cute Valentine’s Commercials

Well hello there, February, Valentine’s month!

I have just the thing to start off this month of romance – cute romantic commercials.

Most people hate commercials nowadays, but there are actually some commercials worth watching. Jollibee, the most famous fast food restaurant in the Philippines, has just released a new one for Valentine’s – as is their tradition. Signs is a cute one that reminded me of my high school or college days. You can watch it below. It has English subtitles.

Here is my realization about signs.

Last year, Jollibee also released a series of Valentine’s commercials, some of which were so popular, even non Filipinos made reaction videos about watching them getting touched. You can watch Date and Vow below.

Vow actually reminds me of Keeping Kelly, a short story I wrote years ago, just that mine had an additional twist. Vow has a sequel, called Perfect Pairs, which you can watch below.

But I have to say that my favourite cute romantic commercial is probably The Story of Sarah & Juan by Extra Gum. I don’t know if it was released on Valentine’s but it would definitely have fit in if it did!
