I don’t know if my friends have realized this by now, but I love flowers. A lot.
This should be obvious from the fact that my Facebook profile picture for the last three years has included flowers.
So I was super duper happy and grateful when I got these flowers last Saturday:
They are probably the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I have ever received in my entire life!
Okay, I could possibly be biased by the fact that they are in my favourite colour – purple.
Yes, I love flowers so much that I have them on my wall in painting form, too.
It’s not just me, though. A lot of ladies love flowers. A friend of mine wished that her boyfriend liked to give flowers, but he likes giving other types of gifts instead.
Me, I prefer flowers. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever said this out loud, but I would rather receive flowers than cakes on my birthday. Not that I don’t appreciate all the cakes I get for my birthdays, of course.
Flowers may be fleeting, but for the brief time that they grace you with their presence, they – first of all – don’t add calories to your hips. 😂 And second of all – they brighten up your day with their beauty. Every time I catch a glimpse of my bouquet, it just instantly lifts my spirits, ya know? Totally makes my day.
Mother’s Day is coming up so if you’re still on the fence about what to get your mom to show your appreciation for everything that she has done for you, here’s an idea – check out Floral Garage.
They have lots of beautiful arrangements. If you don’t know what to get, just get the freestyle bouquet, which comes in three styles – traditional, modern, or rustic. My bouquet is an example of a rustic style.
You’re welcome. 😉
P.S. My flowers were not for Mother’s Day, btw. Just in case there was any confusion. 😅 #notamother

Hi. I can see why you like the color purple so much. Me, too. I painted a bathroom that color once and loved it. Bet the lavender field smells heavenly.I have one plant growing on my property, and I am told lavender repels scorpions. We have little ones in eastern Washington. Their sting isn’t dangerous though, more like a bee sting…or so I’m told. Nevertheless, I plan to plant more lavender!

They’re a gorgeous bunch! I’m terrible at keeping flowers so tend not to buy them, but they’re definitely beautiful and do instantly lift spirits x
