Today I’m sharing my initial impressions after trying the Project B Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptide for a week. {Update: Read my review after 3 months of use!}
But first, let me talk about collagen, in case you didn’t know about it. Our system naturally produces collagen in abundance during our youth, but it comes to a halt at the age of 25. Beyond 30, collagen production starts to decline significantly, and this marks the initiation of aging.
I am way beyond 30 so you can understand why I was excited to try the Project B Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptide. There are a lot of collagen products out there and I have tried some before, but what made me want to try this product in particular is how Project B is as a company.
Project B – B for Bare /bɛː/ is a health supplement company based in Asia that emphasizes on being Bare and transparent of their product development process.
They’re different because they own an extensive development process where they heavily challenge the critical measures and the trial results are published on the official website.
You can find the reports here: www.projectb.asia/pages/our-development-process
In addition to that, their users can also track their new product development progress and their details at: www.projectb.asia/pages/our-product-pipeline. That’s how transparent they can go, and many can’t.
Currently, they are launching Project B Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptide 5,000mg, which is concentrated with 10 extracts under the trademark proprietary blend of COLL10+. This product utilizes high quality collagen peptide imported from Italy and the product formula is developed by researcher Dr Iko for over 26 months and further endorsed by a few pharmacists.
The efficacy profile was then tested for another 6 months before they confirmed the launch. They exhaust their product development process to ensure they only deliver the best quality product.
Project B Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptideis a finely milled white powder that comes in a can. I have actually tried a different collagen powder before, and it had an awful fishy smell. This one doesn’t!
Project B recommends mixing the Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptide into any of your favourite breakfast food or drink to make it a habit so you don’t miss a dose. I would like to honestly say that I tried popping it into my bulletproof coffee (which is coffee with butter) and it did not go well and made the coffee taste a bit sour. This would probably go better with something fruity, like yoghurt or smoothies.
But don’t fret, if you don’t usually eat yoghurt or smoothies for breakfast, they do have a product called Project B 100% Natural Fruit Booster which is imported from Italy. And good news, the fruit booster comes free with every purchase of the Collagen if you apply a discount code which I’ll share at the end of this post.
They come in three different flavours: passion fruit, kiwi, and mixed berries. The fruits are hand-picked in one of the largest fruit-growing area in Europe, delivering a natural and excellent taste and nutritional profile.
I chose the flavour “berries” because it’s the fruit with the least sugar. Since I’m in my thirties, I need to take 2 tablespoons of collagen for two weeks, so I mix this with less than a teaspoon of the fruit booster into a mason jar of water and drink this every morning. It tastes like juice, and you can totally add more or less fruit booster depending on how you sweet you want your drink to be. It’s easier to dissolve it in a bit of hot water at first, before pouring colder water on top.
If I said that I could already see results after just a week, I would obviously be lying, so I won’t be posting before and after pictures until after I try the product for three months. Meanwhile, you can read other people’s testimonials.
Disclaimer: the picture above is using a Samsung front facing camera so my skin looks so nice! Don’t worry, I also took pictures with an actual camera with no filter, and those are what I’ll be posting in three months. Maybe my skin will really look like the above by then!
If you are curious enough to want to try the product along with me, you can purchase it here: Project B Hydrolyzed Biomarine Collagen Peptide.
Add Project B Natural Fruit Booster to your cart as well and apply the discount code “dee” to get it for free! Remember to add both for the discount code to work.
I will also be holding a giveaway for the product on Instagram, so watch out for my post on that on @deecoded!
Disclosure: I was offered a free product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
