My BioNTech Covid Vaccine Experience part 2

If you want to read about the details, please refer to part 1 because it’s pretty much exactly the same for the second dose which I got yesterday.

After I got a practically painless prick, I was handed a printout which had my name and the particulars of my BioNtech vaccine shots. Then I sat in a room for 15 minutes and I was out the door.

I read that a lot of people got worse side effects after their second dose, so I was afraid because I felt pretty lousy the first time around, but surprisingly I didn’t really feel that bad this time.

I did feel something – a sore upper arm, thirst, tightness in the chest like my heart was beating fast but my Apple watch didn’t really register that so I don’t know if I was imagining things, mild headache and sleepiness.

But I didn’t get full blown flu symptoms or even a fever, so it’s fine!

I’m glad to finally be fully vaccinated!
