I signed up for a halloween party in Meetup weeks ago because I wanted to dress up and didn’t think I would be able to do it because none of my friends wanted to. Turns out that Saturday night would be filled with so many halloween parties that I would have to turn down.
Anyway, the halloween party’s theme was Angels vs Devils, so I decided to redo an old costume:
I met a lot of new people and we had fun modeling our costumes and introducing ourselves.
Except for a mishap with the restaurant misunderstanding that we needed a full meal and feeding us only bar bites so we had to scrounge for more substantial food at the nearby 7-11 and 27 Kebab House, the night was overall a pleasant experience.
We even met a random guy named David who wandered into the restaurant and then ended up inviting me and my new bestie Rachel to a rooftop party afterwards. Rooftop parties are a thing in Hong Kong; this isn’t my first one and at least this one didn’t end with the police!
