On Sunday morning, my friend Charlotte asked me if I was interested in joining her team for a Harry Potter Trivia Night because someone had pulled out. Luckily I didn’t have anything planned that night, so I said yes.
Also luckily, I have some Harry Potter related trinkets that I could use – a Gryffindor scarf, a plastic wand, Harry Potter specs and a time turner necklace (from Pandora).
I headed to The Daily Tot, a bar in Central, and found out that almost all of Charlotte’s teammates had backed out. 😅
Not that she needed anybody else because she singlehandedly answered almost all of the questions! The only answer I contributed was “Colin Creevey” which I’m sure she would have gotten eventually.
In the end, our team, named Harry Potter and the Quizoners of Azkaban, won 2 out of 3 rounds and got a total of H$600 vouchers. We also got free shots for having the best team name.
By the way, the bar had Harry Potter themed cocktails and I tried a Snape’s Spritz. We also had some truffle fries, spinach & artichoke dip, and chicken quesadillas and were surprised at how tasty they were for bar food.
I’m glad I went!
And Charlotte has been on fire with winning contests the whole weekend!
