Bitmoji: Your Own Personal Emoji
Over the holidays I discovered a very neat app that makes emojis that look like you and used it to greet my friends on Christmas and New Year, much to their amusement.
“Is that supposed to be you?” they asked.
“Yep,” I replied. “Does it look like me?”
“Yes! Haha!”
So I thought I should share it with you too so you can get the same reaction from your friends!

All you have to do is download the free Bitmoji app on iTunes or Google Play.
The app allows you to customise your avatar so that it resembles you as closely as possible. You can choose the shape of the face, nose, and eyes, the colour of your skin, hair, and make up, the length and style of your hair, the built of your body, and your style of clothing. Pretty cool, huh?
After that, you can scroll through the many tabs of different kinds of emojis that now look like you!
You can choose them from the keyboard, which allows you to then copy and paste the chosen bitmoji to chat apps like whatsapp. For apps which don’t allow you to copy-paste, you can save the bitmoji as a picture into your camera roll from which you can upload it to wherever you like.
