Poetry Slam Night @ Blu Jaz Cafe

Dred is addicted to spoken word poetry, so she searched for an event in Singapore and found one that is held every last Thursday of the month at Blu Jaz Cafe.

Before we went there, though, we went biking in East Coast Park and somehow ended up writing an impromptu poem of our own. Watch us perform it below.

Later in Blu Jaz, we were surprised when we were asked to be judges for the night when we said we weren’t slamming. There were some really great performances which made me give them a perfect 10 score. One even made a tear roll down my cheek. I included my favourites in the video above.
