…blog.
I always give Ivan’s number to customers, so I don’t know why I never noticed this. I am so blind sometimes. @.@
In other office news, it was Joey’s first day at work today. He’s taking over my role. Well, a third of it. The boss said he hired two aunties (his words, not mine) to do the other things. So it’s suddenly crowded in the office now.
I hope Joey will be okay there. He has a tendency to be a bit shy at first. He’s actually a funny guy but according to his wife Gelle, among her friends, I’m the only one around whom he acts like himself. Which means he’s shy with everyone else.
But then again, maybe I need not worry. I am also shy when I’m new (just ask the P&G AP folks who thought I was quiet at first and got shocked when they eventually saw the real me) but the office guys drew me out. They’ll do the same to Joey.
And one more thing – while I was away last week, the workshop dog, Blackie, gave birth to 8 pups. Their names? Blackie 1-8. Guess who was the genius who came up with that. Blackie 8 died, however. 🙁
A more legit concern – what will happen to the pups when they’re grown? Singapore is not like the Philippines. They do not tolerate strays and have this whole adoption papers process thingie.
