Yesterday, Mildred and I took a break from Mildee salad and walked to Plaza 8 to buy some takeaway food for lunch. I craved for something to drink as well and decided to try Teh Tarik’s ice blended Nescafe shake, which turned out to be Nescafe coffee and ice pureed in a blender then served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This turned out to be a good decision because I really loved it, and so did Mildred and Nantoy, who also took sips of my drink. It reminded me of my favorite coffee milkshake back when I was still living in Makati – Javanilla shake from Seattle’s Best Coffee, but this one’s cheaper at only S$3.50 for a huge glassful. It’s loaded with calories, though, so this won’t be a daily thing.
