Eggs and Berries {Foodee}

On Nantoy’s last week at work, we decided to have one last lunch out. We picked a Wednesday when everyone was not too busy. We headed to the nearby Changi City Point mall and upon Mildred’s suggestion, had lunch at Eggs and Berries. They didn’t have a table big enough for all of us inside, so they set us up outside, which was okay, because it wasn’t so hot that day and we didn’t really need air conditioning.

It was my first time there, and when I saw that they had some pancakes on the menu, I just had to have some, so Dred and I shared a steak and eggs meal which came with a side order of pancakes. I was quite happy with our meal, though I thought it was funny that three huge jars of syrup were served along with our tiny plate of pancakes.

Everyone else ordered the set lunch which at S$11.90++ for a main dish (for wednesdays, choice of breaded chicken chop or napolitana pasta) plus salad plus iced lemon tea was a good deal. You could also top up S$2 and get a scoop of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Not bad at all! Everyone was happy with their food. People were raving about the chicken chop, especially.
