Also known as the one with the rainbow cheesecake.
I saw a picture of a pretty rainbow cheesecake on Instagram a few days ago (not the one above, I took that photo)
and told my friends Arlyn and Armar that I wanted to try that someday. They decided that they couldn’t wait till someday, so we cancelled our original Saturday plans and looked for the place right after we watched Jurassic World (which was a fantastic movie, by the way, you should totally watch it!).
We used gothere.sg to discover that all we had to do was take the MRT to Mountbatten station then walk about 4 minutes from there to 12 Dakota Crescent #01-48.
It was easy to find the place. It was the only restaurant in the HDB block, so you can’t miss it.
I forgot to bring my camera and it was dark, so I don’t have great photos, sorry.
I loved that the place was quiet and we were the only customers in there.
As for the food, here’s what we ordered.
I have to say, I was surprised at how delicious all the food was. I loved all the dishes we ordered, with no exception. Our only issue with them was that they were expensive for a neighbourhood cafe.
Naturally, we did not miss out on what we had come here for.
This tastes just like your typical cheesecake, but it’s a lot prettier and more Instagrammable, so I’d take this over any cheesecake any day! Haha.
They have other desserts, too, like ugly nutella, gula melaka cheesecake, yuan yang, and toffee caramel cheesecake, which all look delicious, too. Maybe next time!
Of course I couldn’t go into a cafe without buying a drink, and when I asked the waiter for a recommendation, he told me the “Nuts About U” was their best seller, so I ordered that.
Well this certainly wins points for unique presentation. The waiter instructed me to pour in milk to my taste. I happen to like my coffee drinks creamy, so I poured in as much as the glass could hold, and it was really delicious and refreshing!
Armar and Arlyn both had peppermint ice nutella, which they loved too.
The cafe is also a bar, so they had bottles of cider lined up on the counter. I recognized that this was the brand recommended by my British blogger friend Amy, so I bought the strawberry & lime one for takeaway.
I drank it with ice when I got home and it was so strawberry-licious!
I’m so glad I discovered Tian Kee & Co. 🙂

I have been craving for minestrone and clam chowder soup since like forever, this photo is definitely not helping. The Nuts About U concept seems pretty interesting. I went to Instagram search for their gula melaka cheesecake, I am soooo visiting this place soon!
