Betchie’s birthday celebration was held in Azzura Beach Bar in Sentosa. We enjoyed it so much the last time we were there that’s why we decided to go back.
Arlyn and I met up at Dhoby Gaut station and headed to Vivo City together. We decided to go to Forever 21 to buy a present for Betchie but we couldn’t find something suitable for her and ended up shopping for ourselves instead. LOL.
I wasn’t in appropriate beach getup actually, so when I saw a floral dress on the bargains rack, I tried it on and it fit me perfectly. The tag was marked “bottom bargain price – $30” but when I went to pay for it, I was happily surprised to find that they charged me only S$10 for it. How happy is that? I changed at once. LOL.
Then Arlyn and I went into several more shops before finally finding our gift for Betchie – a jumpsuit at Hypnosis. It’s so Betchie!

Mission accomplished, we rode the Sentosa monorail, got off at the beach station, and walked to Azzura.
Another happy surprise – they did not charge their usual S$30 entrance fee last night!
We walked inside and found the others on the beach. We ordered our favorite barbeque chicken wings, pizza, pasta, and a bucket of San Mig Lite. Yes, they carry the Philippine beer.
We posed for pictures, ate, danced on the sand, yelled at each other to get heard over the blaring music and lay down on the lounge chairs where I fell asleep.
I woke up when a drop of rain pelted me on the face. Oops.
The waiters informed us that we needed to take shelter inside because it had started to rain, so we moved nearer to their bar and the wooden dance floor. We hit that and started dancing. They had better song selections compared to last time. Woohoo!
