Casino Royale (Dinner & Dance @ Marina Bay Sands)
Our company had its annual yearend party at Marina Bay Sands convention center last Friday night, with the theme of Casino Royale.
We left the office early and headed to my flat where we dressed up and I did everyone’s makeup. Everyone was very happy with my output. I should seriously start considering a career change. LOL. We rode cabs to the venue and arrived late but just in time for the food. Everything was sumptuous and tastefully arranged.
Here in Singapore they’re really not much for programs the way we do them in the Philippines, that is, in the sense of letting employees perform in contests and such.
They just usually hire a live band to perform songs that people can dance to. Hence the term “dinner and dance,” (D&D) because that’s all you do.
No wait, they should rename it to “dinner and dance and pictorials” because we had dinner and we danced (so much so that I felt dizzy and my feet seriously hurt – damn you Charles and Keith heels) and we posed for lots and lots of pictures. Here are some of them.
