Well it’s Friday again! Whoop de doo! Do you have any Friday night plans? Good food, live music, Jager bombs? Perhaps I can suggest a place, the one we went to last Friday for our quarterly team dinner. It’s called Lava Edge. We chose the venue because it had all that we were looking for – live band, affordable food and drinks – and it was within walking distance from our office in case some of us had to work late. We’re practical, you know?

My favorite dish was the baby back ribs which was actually Mildred’s order. Here is a picture of her looking shocked at its size. She didn’t expect it to be that big. The next time I go back this is definitely what I’m ordering! But it’s so big that I need to share it with someone. Maybe Dred.
Whoa! So big! |
Though we were happy enough with the food and music, our favorite moment of the night came when we discovered Jager bombs. One of our colleagues ordered and one and let us try it, and we were hooked by how yummy it was! A Jager bomb (pronounced as yey-ger) is a bomb shot cocktail mixed by dropping a shot glass of Jagermeister into a glass of Redbull energy drink.

A bunch of us decided to order a round. When the waiter served the drinks, they lined them up on the table like so:

And then our colleague Gopi flicked the first shotglass at the head of the line and it knocked the other shotglasses into their respective glasses, like a domino effect. It was an awesome spectacle to watch and if you don’t believe me, just look at my collegues’ facial expressions in below picture. LOL!

Unfortunately nobody remembered to take a video of it, so here is another Jagerbomb train video that I found on Youtube to show you:
We just found a great Friday night hangout for people who work in Changi Business Park! See you there, eh? Find out how to get there through their website.
