After my harrowing experience applying for a Shengen visa at the French Embassy, I hadn’t had breakfast or lunch so I needed to eat after all the stress and excitement, so I went to the nearby cafe, Da Paolo, to eat. I tried to be a good girl and got a grilled chicken salad at first but the sight of all those pizzas broke me down.
A crodo is actually a cronut, that famous pastry that is merged croissant and donut, but the name is copyrighted, so they decided to change it. Cheeky.
I had one with salted caramel filling and it was good but messy to eat and too big and sweet. It was yummy, but to be honest, I prefer donuts or cakes.
Well at least I know what I’m missing.
